STO Helpdesk S2: Ground Setup Part 2
Welcome to part 2 where we will be discussing the choice you have made and the reprecussions of it in the ground standpoint. What colour is flying on your uniform. Is it Tactical, Engineering or Science.
THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT
*cue character creation screen*
To explain what have you done I would have to grab one of those sciency books and explain the concept of the butterfly effect
(insert book section or something)
This choice you have made most likely without consideration, an imulsive thing pulling you to choose. The only thing you had to go off with was a little bit of info tidbits they dropped on you:
Tactical:
You have chosen to be the redshirt, the first man to either die in a glorious charge or absolutely plow through enemies. The main thing you need to know about a tactical character is that tactical characters are only as good as their tools (or gear to be more precise). You have tools to increase your damage, debuff enemies, cooldown kits faster and even some reinforcements if need be:
*Insert native tac ground ability rant*
Engineering:
When you see enemies you are the kind of person who is ready to throw anything at your disposal, mortars, turrets, drones, bombs, kitchen sinks (okay maybe not that last part). But the point stands, engineers are versatile and ready for any threat that presents itself. Packed with cover shields, support drones, shield heals and even an orbital strike.
*insert another rant, don't mind me*
Science:
Hah you fell fir one of the classic blunders, picking up a class that by far requires the most planning to do well in. Science boasts various utilitarian uses and can easily fill roles such as healer or controller. Boasting buffs and debuffs of all kinds this person can be useless or a gamechanger for you.
*Insert rant about the powah of SCIENCE*
